The Failure of Naro

On Thursday, Korea’s first space rocket Naro appeared to have exploded in the air shortly after blastoff. It was Korean second launch of the rocket delivering a satellite to the space. The government announced the plan of third launch project after the analyzing meeting of the failure.

Failure is bitter to everyone. After failure, people can respond in two ways. One is to give up completely and the other is to continually challenge for the project. Fortunately, Korean government chose to continue the challenge. Giving up is much easier to choose, but we cannot expect any other improvement. Challenging again is much harder but there is possibility to improve or develop.

Korea may succeed Naro project some day unless she gives up. It may take much longer period, but surely some day the project will be successfully accomplished. Thomas Edison, who invented the electric bulb, was very famous and great inventor. He also failed several thousand times in his experiments. However, he never gave up and rather said, “I am not discouraged, because every wrong attempt discarded is another step forward.” He became one of the greatest inventors because he did not give up after failures.
